We use the information to provide you with a life insurance quote, and to send you the necessary insurance forms you need in order to apply for coverage. We also use this information for the paramedical company to contact you, to schedule a medical appointment with you before you can be considered for a life insurance policy.

Sharing of the Information this site gathers/tracks:
We do not share your "personally identifiable information" other than with third parties as outlined within this privacy policy.
When you provide us with personal information such as your name, address, e-mail and/or phone numbers, we will consider that action as being your express invitation that we, including any subscribing, affiliated customer of LifeQuote referral service, contact you about insurance via e-mail, telephone and fax, using the information you have supplied. Should you decide to purchase the life insurance policy, you will be required to fill out an application form with the insurance company with which you are considering purchasing a policy, to allow them to proceed with the evaluation process. The application contains detailed personal questions, including medical information. This allows the insurance company to weigh all the pertinent information before making a final decision on issuance of a life insurance policy. This information is kept for one year for those clients who purchase insurance. Information is kept for ninety days for those clients who do not purchase insurance.  LifeQuote does not share with third parties for unknown or unrelated uses.

Users should expect direct communication from this web site, regarding the evaluation process and status of the life insurance policy prices you have requested. If users decide to apply for coverage, they may receive email communications, postal mailings, or telephone calls, as part of the insurance evaluation process.  LifeQuote is not in the practice of sending unsolicited emails to anyone who has not requested life insurance information. Mandatory or Optional Information:
Some of the information being requested is optional. The user only needs to provide enough information to prepare the life insurance quote. Other than the State of residence, email address, demographic information, and tobacco use, any other "personally identifiable information" is optional.

Correct/Update Data:
Information is collected for a single use, and unless the user requests an application for insurance, the information is not used again. Therefore, there is no need to update or verify information on an ongoing basis. Users can correct/update any personal information they may have submitted through our Feedback Form located in the Contact Us page.

LifeQuote Site Security:
Our service provider has developed unique proprietary technology where each session is assigned an encrypted dynamic key that is unique to that user´s session. At each page load, the key is validated to verify that the session information has not been altered. Similar precautions are taken within HTML forms to prevent "hijacking" of legitimate changes and access. There are many other security measures, but exactly for reasons of security, they are proprietary and cannot be disclosed in any more detail. Our security is monitored and improved on a regular basis. In similar installations, no breach of security has occurred. Our access to your data is limited to our organization. Clients can access their data with a user ID and password for their quote retrieval, which is sent to them via email in the form of a URL. The password is system-generated, and is four characters in length. It is not case-sensitive. The data is protected in our administration system.  In order to access the administration system employees must sign in with a user ID and password. If the system is not being utilized, the idle workstation is set to shut itself down.

Administrative access attempts are logged, and linked to both a user ID, as well as an IP address. We also require any contractors to sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) pertaining to sensitive data. As a back up for data retention, we store your information on 'alternative media' to ensue access in case of disaster. This data is kept in paper files and is locked in cabinets in our offices. We store the data for up to one year for clients who have purchased life insurance, and for up to ninety days for non-purchasing clients. The files and/or data are later destroyed after the aforementioned retention period.  Employees are informed of the strict security policies at hire, and reminded at employee reviews, or when those policies are amended.
