Life Insurance Awareness Month 2006 is around the corner and the LIFE
foundation (www.lifefdn.org) has just announced a spokeman for 2006:
We´re happy to announce that Scott Hamilton will serve as this year´s
celebrity spokesperson for the September LIAM campaign.
As you'll see, Scott´s story is different than those of Marilu Henner and
Kwame Jackson. Unlike Marilu and Kwame, each of whom experienced the
benefits of life insurance when a parent died, Scott´s mother didn't have
any life insurance when cancer cut her life short at age 47. Her income was
very important to the family and money was much tighter after she died.
Largely as a result of that experience, Scott has a great appreciation of
the need for life insurance and has owned it since he was a young man.
Today, Scott is married and has a two-year-old son, and considers life
insurance a vital part of his financial gameplan.
In addition to the television, radio and print interviews that Scott will
conduct on our behalf, Scott will speak at the NAIFA Convention in San
Francisco on August 28, 2006 and participate in a media event in New York
City in mid-September. As was the case with our past spokespeople, Scott is
happy to entertain offers to speak at industry gatherings like Top Producer
and Home Office meetings. If you're interested in exploring that
possibility, please contact me and I'd be glad to assist you in reaching out
to Scott and his agent.
We encourage you to share throughout your organization the news of Scott´s participation in the campaign. We´re very excited about the passion and
conviction that Scott will bring to LIAM! |
