ARE YOU READY TO MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS?
Recent studies have proven that women are responsible for 83% of all retail purchases made. Yet when it comes to buying something to protect their future—life insurance--- the majority of women--- 60% do not own life insurance.
Women are more involved than ever before with financial decisions such as the purchase of insurance policies, retirement and estate planning--- markets that once targeted men exclusively.
WOMEN: LEADERS AT HOME
Surveys show that 53% of women are involved in investment decisions and 1 in 3 women consider themselves more involved in financials decisions than they were 5 years ago.
We are about to see the largest wealth transfer in U-S history as baby boomers inherit from their parents. What is still unclear are the kinds of spending patterns that will emerge from these women as they retire from the workforce. They will make history as the youngest, healthiest, wealthiest, best educated and most ambitious group of retired women ever.
Since statistically speaking women will outlive their husbands the family assets will likely fall into the hands of these boomer women. On average 75% of those women will be widowed and will most likely survive their husbands by 15 to 18 years.
During these years women will have control of the household’s assets; so why not invest a little time to do some research about the best options out there for your family’s life insurance options? Is term life insurance or whole life insurance right for your needs? How much life insurance coverage should you have?
As women continue to balance multiple roles--- caring for families and careers, they must now also manage purchasing decisions that include protecting their future.
Don’t wait to ensure your family’s well-being by finding the right life insurance policy for you.
Think of it this way--- life insurance is not for those who die; it’s for those who live.
